Sailing Yacht Thalia

Fast, graceful and luxurious, Thalia a 48.5 metre (159 ft) ketch provides the ultimate sailing experience. Designed by Ron Holland for extensive ocean-voyaging to the remotest parts of the world, she offers a high level of reliability and self-sufficiency. Thalia’s low profile and carefully designed seating areas allow unobstructed views in combination with a feeling of closeness to the sea that is remarkable for a yacht of this size.

A spacious deck-level lounge with large panoramic windows serves as the social epicentre. Glass-panelled double doors open onto an expansive and sheltered deck area. An innovative, retractable awning extends from the lounge roof, integrating the interior and exterior spaces. Thalia was recognized with the 1994 Showboats Award for Best Sailing Yacht Interior. Designer Elmar Meurer has successfully integrated the yacht’s state-of-the-art technology with a classic nautical design.

Colombo Mobili’s exquisitely-crafted mahogany panelling and luxurious marble baths contribute to the yacht’s elegant and enduring feel. The ingenious layout provides comfortable living, dining and sleeping for twelve guests and eight crew.
